Rain

It's been raining here for weeks! I'm ready for it to stop. It doesn't really feel like summer, but at least it's not hot.

Not much is going on here. We're still looking for work. I am temping a little next week. That's kind of exciting. I'm a little nervous, but I think it will be fine. Davis is doing his swimming merit badge class right now. He has one more week to go. He was so tired the first day! This has been really good for him. He's always had a bit of trouble with feeling comfortable in the water and now he's doing a lot better. His instructor is a drill sargent though. I hear her shouting "Go, go, go!" the whole hour that we're there.

Kaelyn is at youth conference right now. I have to say that the house is a little quieter with her gone! ;-) It's funny how taking just one kid out of the mix changes the dynamic and it doesn't really matter which kid it is! I hope she's having a good time. They went down to Snow College in Manti and they get to see the Manti Pageant while they're there. Lucky!

Well, I'm going to go look out the window and see if it's stopped raining yet....

Seriously! What is up with all this rain? So weird. Oh well. It should be sunny for a few days now. Finally. Sounds like everyone is happy and busy in your neck of the woods. Enjoy your temping this week! I'm sure you will do great.

Bummer about the rain. Shannon was complaining too.

Maybe it's all swim coaches that yell. Lizzie had her swim lessons at the high school and there were a few other "club" teams there at the same time. All they did was yell!! During the second week as we were walking up to the pool, Mimi commented, "We're almost there, I can hear the yelling!" It made me laugh....and seriously consider not putting my kids on the swim team.

That is so weird that you have had so much rain. We had a couple weeks of just very gloomy and chilly weather. The sun has finally broken through this week though and we are already to the mid 90's. That sure happened fast! I hope you guys can find work soon. That has to be frustrating. Hope Kaelyn had a fun time at youth conference!! It sounded fun to me. :)
