I had my first child patient today. He was really sweet, but he kept falling asleep in the chair and then his mouth would close! I guess that's a lot easier to deal with than someone who's fighting you every step of the way. Anyway, I still feel pretty slow on the scaling, but I'm starting to feel a little more comfortable with my sequence. It took me almost 45 min to scale. Sigh. So I guess that's one of my main goals. I want to be able to at least get a 1A done in 20 min. I'm pretty happy about the break next Mon. Next week I have a new patient who hasn't been in before. I'm really hoping for a class 2 or 3. :-) That would be so great!
